When setting up new staff members within the NOQ portal or adjusting the permissions set for existing staff members you will see an additional permission called ‘Delete Cart’. Taking this permission away will NOT allow your staff member to delete any existing carts created whilst they are logged into the NOQ EPOS or Lite app with their pin code.
To adjust the users permission you will need to do this on the NOQ Portal following the steps below.
1. This is the screen you will see when you first login. Select users.
2. Select the staff section
3. Select ‘edit’ if you wish to change the permissions of an existing staff member or ‘create staff’ if you wish to add a new staff member.
4. Here you can either remove 'Delete Cart' from the permissions section meaning this staff member will not have permission to delete a cart on the NOQ EPOS and Lite app. Or you can keep 'Delete Cart' within the permission section to allow your staff member to delete carts on the NOQ EPOS or Lite app.
To show you how this will look on the NOQ EPOS or Lite app - this terminal has been logged into as a staff member without the permission to delete carts. Once they select delete cart an error will appear and a manager of staff member with this permission will need to enter their person pin code.
