You now can activate our cash calculator feature. This tool effortlessly showcases the precise amount of change that needs to be provided to your customers. With just a click, you can enhance the efficiency and accuracy of your transactions, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for both you and your customers. Say goodbye to manual calculations and hello to a new level of convenience and professionalism with our cash calculator feature. Within the counter section when putting an order through as cash, you will be displayed with a calculator. Here you can insert the amount of cash the customer gave you and the calculator will display the change due. If you are using our keypad, you have the calculator icon which you can select to use the cash calculator feature.
1. This is the screen you will see on your EPOS/EPOS Lite app. Select the three lines in the top left corner.
2. Select ‘Device Settings’.
3. Select ‘Functional Settings’
4. You will see the option to activate the cash calculator at the bottom of your screen.
6. Once you have added items to your cart, select ‘cash’ through either quick check out, super quick or standard check out.
7. Here you can see the total value of the cart is displayed as ‘total to pay’. The cash given from the shopper can be entered via the keypad or you can use the pre-set options in purple. Once you have entered this amount, select ‘tender’.
8. Once you have selected tender, the amount of change that is due will be displayed. You can then print or email the receipt or select ‘done’.
9. If you are using keypad, the process if very similar. This is the screen you will see when you see when you login into the EPOS app and you are using keypad.
10. Input the amount that you are charging the customer. If you would like to use the calculator, select the calculator icon.
11. If you select the calculator, you will see this appear on the screen. Here you can see the total value of the cart is displayed as ‘total to pay’. The cash given from the shopper can be entered via the keypad or you can use the pre-set options in purple. Once you have entered this amount, select ‘tender’.
12. Once you have selected tender, the amount of change that is due will be displayed. You can select ‘done’. Please note that this does not process the payment.
13. To process the payment, after selecting done, ensure ‘cash’ is selected and then select ‘charge’.
