When refunding a purchase, you now can choose how it affects your stock. You have three options: 'no stock action', 'back to inventory', and 'wastage'. Opting to add the items 'back to inventory' will increase your stock count and this information will be included in your stock movement report. Similarly, selecting 'wastage' will also be recorded in your stock movement report. To take advantage of this exciting new feature, simply process a full refund or refund by item and a convenient pop-up will appear, allowing you to specify the stock management action.
1. This is the screen you will see when you log into the EPOS app. If you have a customer who has requested a refund, select the three lines in the top left corner.
2. Select ‘Past Orders’.
3. Select the order you would like to refund. Please note that this does not apply for keypad orders.
4. Here you can select what type of refund you would like to action. Please note, if you select partial refund, this will not allow you to put stock back into inventory.
5. Once you have selected which refund type you would like to proceed with you can specify the stock action for the refunded items.
6. These stock movements are all visable within your stock movement report within the NOQ Portal.
To view this report, login into your NOQ Portal and select reporting down the left-hand side of your screen. Then select ‘stock movement report’.
